Syngenta Huddersfield – Proud Sponsors of Kirkwood Hospice Midnight Memory Walk
Syngenta Huddersfield have supported local Dalton charity Kirkwood Hospice since their inception 30 years ago. As part of their special 30th anniversary celebrations Syngenta were asked to sponsor the medals for the most presitigious night in their fundraising calendar – the Midnight Memory Walk.
After circulating a request for people to get involved, Procurement Business Partner Rob Durrans and the Production Support Team spearheaded by Linda Mortimer kindly volunteered. Together a team of seven (Kate Hardi, Neil Lavender, Claire Reed, Avril Batten (all pictured L-R with Rob Durrans) and Sarah Gibson (not pictured) walked the 6 mile route through Huddersfield on the 25th June, raising valuable funds for the Hospice.
Kirkwood Hospice provides an outstanding level of care and support to the people of Kirklees, and this year’s walk raised an incredible, record-breaking figure of over £113,000.
