ELATUS® Era
The leading fungicide for Yellow Rust control
Stay up to date with the latest news and events from Syngenta
Applying the right product at the T1 timing is critical to providing long-lasting protection against key wheat and barley diseases ahead of the T2 application.

The proven force against Yellow rust
Early Yellow rust prevention is critical, especially in susceptible varieties and backward crops. It is an unpredictable disease that can colonise rapidly and severely reduce yield, reducing efficacy of even the best T2 fungicides.
ELATUS® Era provides powerful, consistent and complete protection at T1.
ELATUS® Era is the leading product in the market for Yellow rust, so you can trust the results.

Where and when to prioritise ELATUS® Era use
In wheat:
As a stand-alone product at T1 timing for persistent activity on Septoria, Yellow rust and Eye spot |
Varieties with low Yellow rust resistance ratings |
Late-drilled or backward wheat crops (also at increased Yellow rust risk) |
Good value for money |
Where there is a need for preventative Septoria tritici control and long-lasting protection |
Milling wheat where there is also a need to maximise protein |
Include a product containing folpet such as MIRROR® in the tank mix for greater resistance management peace-of-mind |
In barley:
T1 is key timing for barley disease control |
Broad spectrum control against Rhynchosporium, Ramularia and Net blotch |
On hybrid barley crops which have larger flag leaves than conventional crops |
Good value for money |
Include a product containing cyprodinil such as KAYAK® in the tank mix for greater resistance management peace-of-mind |
Tried and tested against barley diseases
T1 timing is key to maintaining yield by protecting the green leaf area on the lower canopy, which is especially important on hybrid barley which has larger flag leaves than conventional varieties.
ELATUS® Era provides broad spectrum barley disease control.
ELATUS® Era can be tank mixed with KAYAK® to give complete control of Net blotch, Eye spot, Mildew and Rhynchosporium.
Using powerful SOLATENOL® technology
SOLATENOL® is the SDHI component within ELATUS® Era. Controlling the key target diseases at T1 of wheat and barley.
It disrupts respiration within the fungal hyphae, starving them of the energy they need to survive.
✓ ELATUS® Era is a proven force against Yellow rust in wheat, and provides persistent leaf protection against Septoria tritici.
✓ ELATUS® Era is a complete and consistent all rounder against the main barley diseases; Rhynchosporium, Ramularia and Net blotch.

Persistent leaf protection against Septoria
Preventing Septoria tritici early is far better than trying to control it later. Which is why T1 is the key timing for using persistent technology such as ELATUS® Era. It’s also important for maintaining long-lasting protection and cost-effectiveness, so that T2 fungicides are applied to a clean crop.
Added reason to use in milling wheat
Rust can erode grain proteins. Along with its powerful rust activity that fits well on a number of milling wheat varieties, ELATUS® Era has been shown in trials to improve grain protein content (or maintain grain protein content while giving a 30% boost to yield).
