Trials and experience with NUELLO® iN: Yield benefits in winter wheat and winter barley trials
In UK winter wheat and winter barley trials, NUELLO® iN demonstrated yield benefits equivalent to up to 30 kg N/ha. When comparing NUELLO® iN + VIBRANCE® Duo to VIBRANCE® Duo alone, plots treated with NUELLO® iN exhibited higher yields across all nitrogen rates tested.
Case 2022: Yield benefits in dry conditions
Trials in winter wheat and winter barley demonstrated NUELLO® iN benefits in rooting, greening, and increased chlorophyll levels. When nitrogen was applied, dry conditions created a discrepancy between the crops' nitrogen needs and their actual uptake. NUELLO® iN helped bridge this gap by fixing atmospheric nitrogen, resulting in greener crops and larger root systems. In 2022, NUELLO® iN delivered an average yield increase of 0.5 t/ha in winter wheat and 0.3 t/ha in hybrid barley nitrogen response trials. Case 2023/24: Yield benefits in wet conditions
Autumn and winter 2023/24 was extremely wet, which led to: compromised crop establishment, poor crop vigour and rooting, low soil nitrogen levels, waterlogging, leaching, and delayed nitrogen application timings with growers unable to travel to apply early N.
