The Syngenta site at Granta Park, Cambridge is the location for the commercial operations of Syngenta's Crop Protection, Seeds businesses in the UK and Ireland. Activities include sales, marketing, technical support, customer support and administration functions.
The UK Crop Protection and Seeds business employs a commercial team based at Granta Park, Cambridge which includes a home-based field force along with a small team based in Waterford Ireland. It provides growers with a wide range of products to help protect their crops from pests, weeds and diseases. Our innovative technologies, products and services deliver efficient solutions to agricultural production problems.
Granta Park, Cambridge is also the location of Syngenta Professional Solutions. This division focuses on providing products and services for non-agricultural professional markets. Covering turf management, forestry, tree care, vegetation management, ornamental and garden control, pest management and vector control.
The UK Seeds business also includes staff based at our breeding sites at Whittlesford and Market Stainton. It provides growers with a range of field and vegetable crops which meet the continuing needs for improvements in yield, agronomic traits and end user acceptance. Our plant breeding skills combine with technological expertise to address key industry challenges such as producing more food from fewer hectares.
Visitor information
If you are due to visit Granta Park Cambridge, here is some useful information:
Your host must inform Syngenta Reception of your name and company at least 24 hours prior to your visit.
Syngenta Reception will notify Granta Park Security and TWI Reception to expect you.
You must check-in at Security on arrival at Granta Park (enter the Park via the right-hand lane and check-in at the Gatehouse).
Once admitted to Granta Park, turn right at the roundabout and follow the road to the next roundabout (be aware of numerous speed bumps). Turn left at this roundabout and follow the road to the end and turn left and park in the visitor parking area. (Disabled parking also available).
Make your way towards the aeroplane and follow the path towards the main entrance, where you should check-in at TWI Reception, who will direct you to Syngenta offices. (Please note: Syngenta offices are situated on the 2nd floor, accessible by lift or stairs).
TWI Reception is open 08:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday (16:00 Friday)
If you plan to arrive prior to 08:30, please liaise with your host to collect you at the main entrance.
Visitors need to sign in at Syngenta Reception on the 2nd floor, where visitor pass will be issued.
On departure, please sign out at Syngenta Reception and return your visitor pass.
