Investing in the next generation of creative talent with Lawrence Batley Theatre partnership

Syngenta is backing a new programme of work aimed at nurturing the next generation of talent in Huddersfield and Kirklees. In partnership with The Lawrence Batley Theatre, the programme of work will engage young people and emerging creatives across monthly Masterclasses, two day-long Summer Sessions and a week-long Theatre Bootcamp.

The work will invest in local young people, offering access to creative opportunities and supporting routes into the creative industries. Becky Atkinson, Chief Executive of Lawrence Batley Theatre said “We think it’s so important that young people have opportunities to gain skills and experience on their doorstep. We are really pleased to be working with Syngenta to invest in and help develop the next generation of Huddersfield born arts professionals.”
