Elatus® Era
Proven complete protection
for peace of mind
✓All rusts ✓Septoria ✓Long lasting ✓Wheat, barley, oats and more
Economically damaging cereal diseases, such as rusts and Septoria, cause significant damage inside the leaf long before any signs of infection can be seen, highlighting the importance of a preventative approach to disease control. Early protection against Septoria tritici is crucial to maintaining green leaf area and yield. Trying to control disease at a later growth stage that is already established in the crop is not cost-effective and yield limiting. Applying a product at the T1 timing is critical to providing long-lasting protection against Septoria tritici and rust ahead of the T2 application.

How SOLATENOL® protects against wheat crop disease
This animation describes how SOLATENOL® controls two key diseases of wheat; rust and Septoria. SOLATENOL® is the SDHI component within ELATUS® Era.
It disrupts respiration within the fungal hyphae, starving them of the energy they need to survive.
ELATUS® Era is a proven force against yellow rust in wheat, and provides persistent leaf protection against Septoria tritici.
By providing long-lasting protection of the inside and the outside of the leaf, ELATUS® Era delivers enhanced green leaf retention and proven yield benefits across a range of cereal crops, varieties, and disease situations.
The proven force against yellow rust
As an unpredictable disease that can colonise rapidly and severely reduce yield, early yellow rust prevention is critical, especially in susceptible varieties and backward crops. ELATUS® Era provides powerful, consistent and complete protection at T1.
Persistent leaf protection against Septoria
Preventing S. tritici early is far better than trying to control it later. Which is why T1 is the key timing. It’s also important for maintaining long-lasting protection and cost-effectiveness, so that T2 fungicides are applied to a clean crop.
Brown rust bonus
Typically a later season disease, especially across Southern England and in susceptible varieties, ELATUS® Era offers a ‘go to’ solution at T2 against brown rust.
Added reason to use in milling wheat
Rust can erode grain proteins. Along with its powerful rust activity that fits well on a number of milling wheat varieties, ELATUS® Era has been shown in trials to improve grain protein content (or maintain grain protein content while giving a 30% boost to yield). *figures from AHDB nutrient management guide
Average of: 95 wheat trials for yield & 60 wheat trials for protein content .5 varieties – Crusoe, Solstice, KWS Lilli, Skyfall & KWS Santiago
Examples of where to prioritise ELATUS® Era use
- Varieties with low yellow and/or brown rust resistance ratings
- Late-drilled or backward wheat crops (also at increased yellow rust risk)
- Where there is a need for preventative Septoria tritici control and long-lasting protection
- Milling wheat where there is also a need to maximise protein
- Include MIRROR® in the tank mix for greater resistance management peace-of-mind
