Employees Christmas Toy Appeal to Help Local Children

Staff at Syngenta Huddersfield collected and donated more than 100 toys for local children in their annual Christmas Toy Appeal.

Each year, staff at Syngenta Huddersfield make donations to the toy appeal in support of local children. This year, toys were dispatched to community centres in the Dalton and Ashbrow wards. 

Community centres distributed the toys to families referred by a network of support services and this year in particular, there were a number of families from the Ukraine living in our community. We believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas and the Toy Appeal steps in to help many local families and children every year.

Toy Appeal Co-ordinator, Megan Smith said “I feel very proud to be an employee at Syngenta and hope that with the gifts donated by our employees, it can help ensure that children in our local area receive a gift this festive season”.
