Breeding Insight

SY TUNGSTEN has outstanding yield and good all round characteristics. It is attractive for maltsters as it is a dual purpose variety that can be used for both brewing and malt distilling, and should follow the likes of LAUREATE in the UK. Its very high Northern yields re-enforce its suitability for Scotland.
