Breeding insights

"BAZOOKA was launched as a Candidate variety in 2015 and gained automatic recommendation by the AHDB in 2016. It now takes the place of HYVIDO Volume as the top performing Winter Barley variety on the list in all regions of the UK. BAZOOKA performs particularly well in the East where black-grass is often an issue. This is because of the variety’s spring vigour that boosts grass weed suppression. If you’re looking for an out and out yielder of a variety then BAZOOKA is it."
