After last week’s cold snap and snow, encouraging signs are being seen at Syngenta’s trials site at Brewood in Staffordshire.

The winter wheat leaf 4 is about 75% emerged across the crop on the main stem. T0 spray applications will begin at the end of next week, weather-permitting.

“It’s good to see the emergence of leaf 4 after last weekend’s snow, and we’re looking forward to starting the T0 applications after such frustrating weather-related setbacks.”
