Potato Event stand gets the BASIS point

Followers of the BASIS Knowledge Trail at the BP2017 Potato Event will now be able to pick up a valuable CPD Point on the Syngenta stand.
To be held in Harrogate next month (22-23 November), topics being covered on the Syngenta stand and in the BASIS Knowledge Trail, include:
Alternaria insight | Review of 2017 season NIAB monitoring results and the future for disease forecasting potential |
Pre-em herbicides on target | Application techniques to get the best from herbicide applications and minimise drift - following the advice to Go Low; Go Slow; Get Covered |
Blight resistance | See results of Eurofins trials – and their implications for 2018 blight season strategies |
Reflecting BP2017’s importance for potato agronomy information, visiting the show will automatically qualify for two CPD points, with up to four further points available for following the Knowledge Trail. Event attendees can pick up their Knowledge Trail cards from the BASIS stand.
Syngenta Potato Campaign Manager, Mark Britton, added: “Innovation in potato science and the crop’s agronomy continues to develop apace. BP2017 provides a great chance to see and discuss the latest developments, and find out how they can be integrated into plans for the 2018 season.
“We look forward to welcoming all growers, agronomists and industry specialists on Syngenta stand 176 – as well as sharing our latest insights and providing the opportunity to gain BASIS Points.”
