Celebrating Harvest Heroes

Harvest, the pinnacle of farming, year on year underlines the hard work and dedication that growers and agronomists display in their role to help provide food for the nation.

After the challenging weather conditions the UK experienced this season, coupled with Covid-19 restricting live events and meeting customers, we wanted to give back to our community and celebrate you, our harvest heroes, who work tirelessly during this time.

Harvest is a time when it's all hands-on deck to get the job done. We would love to hear from you to help share your harvest success stories and say thank you to everyone who lends a hand. To get involved and join the conversation use the hashtag #HarvestHeroes on your Twitter and Instagram to show your appreciation of your harvest heroes; be this your staff, family or even your four-legged friend. Adding to this, we will also be sharing the latest Innovation Centre harvest updates; insights into what our triallists are getting up to; and our popular variety and yield results.

We have also teamed up with The Farming Community Network and Farmwell to bring you support and guidance throughout this period. Whilst recognising the hard work undertaken throughout harvest, we also think it’s highly important to highlight the struggles that come with this, and the staggeringly high percentage of farmers and individuals within this sector who suffer from physical and mental health problems. Follow our Twitter and Instagram @SyngentaCropsUK, along with @FCNCharity and @FCNFarmwell to find helpful content and resources that we hope brings support during these challenging times.
