  • Syngenta Technical Manager, Simon Jackson, will travel down from Norfolk to discuss pest control relating to BYDV in cereal crops and CSFB in OSR – and tell us if there is light at the end of the tunnel.   
  • Ryegrass remains a big issue for most in the area, therefore we will share our latest application advice and how to get the best results from using spring contact herbicides.
  • There is a plethora of fungicides to choose from for spring 2024 in wheat and barley, but how can we best decide what to use and when? Syngenta will discuss their trials and look at specific scenarios within the south-east to evaluate the best technical and economic options.  
  • Syngenta’s new winter wheat with bread making potential, SY Cheer, may be a variety of choice to grow in autumn 2024 – we will tell you how to get the most out of this new and exciting variety and why we think it will be a firm favourite for years to come. 
  • Syngenta’s new digital tool, MyField, will be discussed along with our latest biological product, Vixeran.
