Crisp Maltings, Adams & Howling and Syngenta are delighted to be inviting you back for our Eastern Malting Barley Conference on Tuesday 12th December 2023 from 09:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs, at Dunston Hall, Norwich.

The Malting Barley Conference will give you the opportunity to participate in talks from several leading specialists within the malting barley world. Topics ranging from trials data to market insights.

Highlights will include:

  • Tracy Creasy, from Syngenta will give an overview of European malting barley.
  • Rebecca Gee and Dave Griggs from Crisp Malt, will give a maltsters view on barley performance in 2023 and prospects for the UK malting barley market.
  • Chris Borrett, Director of Adams & Howling, will give a view on local malting barley markets.
  • Kathryn Hamlen and Rob Jackson from Syngenta will discuss existing and pipeline varieties to meet grower and market requirements.
  • Georgie Young, Technical Manager will be covering key trial learns and agronomy recommendations plus our findings from our local sustainability site at Elveden.

We hope that the broad range of topics to be discussed on the day will provide some insightful and thought-provoking information for you as you look towards making the most of the varieties you are growing and meeting market demands.

Following the talks there will be a lunch served in the main hall. Please confirm at the time of registering online whether you will be attending the lunch and any dietary requirements.
