SUNNINGDALE is the newest addition to the HYVIDO family and was newly added to the AHDB Recommended List this year for drilling in Autumn 2017.  SUNNINGDALE shows the same type of attributes as VOLUME, our most popular hybrid variety.  It's yields exceptionally well and is particularly strong in the North.

Breeders Insights

SUNNINGDALE is our newest HYVIDO Hybrid Barley.  It is was newly recommended on the AHDB list this year and offers great overall qualities.  SUNNINGDALE shows many of the same qualities as VOLUME, our very first and most popular Hybrid Barley variety and because of this it's a great choice for those who may have been growing VOLUME for some time but are looking for something new. 

In the North, SUNNINGDALE is the highest yielding winter barley on the AHDB Recommended List 2017 with a massive 113% treated control. SUNNINGDALE also has good grain quality and straw strength with a robust disease profile.
