What about systemic movement?
- SOLATENOL™ and other SDHI’s are locally systemic and move through the leaf in the Xylem acropetally (towards the leaf tip). They do not move basipetally (towards the base of the leaf).
- No SDHI product is truly systemic in the sense of phloem mobility. However our own biokinetics do show that biologically active amounts of ai can move to newly emerging leaf area through translaminar movement from leaf sheaths and leaf axil deposits
- We know that different SDHI’s move in different ways according to their phys’s/chem properties, and we believe that SOLATENOL™ has the ideal balance of movement in terms of speed and longevity to deliver the best performance and yield from a T2 application
