2024 HYVIDO® Weekly Quiz Prize Drawer Terms & Conditions
Please read these Rules carefully. “Prize Draw” means the chance to win a Syngenta / Hyvido® Neo full size rugby ball. “Syngenta” and “we/us/our” means Syngenta UK Limited, reg’d co. no. 00849037. By entering the Prize Draw, you (the “Entrant”) accept and agree to comply with these Rules. In all cases our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
1. Eligibility Requirements
1.1 The Prize Draw is open to residents of the UK only, excluding employees of Syngenta and their immediate families and anyone else professionally connected with this Prize Draw.
1.2 Entrants must be 18 years old or over and we reserve the right to request proof of age from any potential prize winners.
2. Competition Period
2.1 The Prize Draw begins on 02-08-2024 and closes at midnight on 14-09-2024 (“Competition Period”). All entries must be received before the expiry of the Competition Period.
2.2 All valid Entries received during the Competition Period will be entered into the Prize Draw. Winner(s) will be selected by random draw every 2 weeks during the Competition Period. Our decision concerning all matters relating to the Prize Draw, including the determination of the winner(s), will be final and binding.
3. How to Enter
3.1 No fee or purchase necessary. To enter, Entrants must complete the 2024 HYVIDO® WEEKLY QUIZ by submitting the correct answer for the one (1) weekly quiz question along with the additional questions asked and provide their name, email address and home address so that we can contact the winner(s) and send their prize via post.
3.2 No other forms of entry will be accepted. Multiple entries for each weekly quiz question are not permitted, however you are permitted to enter all quiz questions across the seven (7) week period.
3.3 We accept no liability for lost, late or misdirected entries, for technical failures of any kind or for any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of the entries.
4. Prizes
4.1 The prize is a Syngenta / Hyvido® Full Size Rugby Ball. There is no cash alternative and the prize(s) is/are not transferrable.
4.2 Throughout the seven (7) week competition period, no more than one (1) Syngenta / HYVIDO® Neo full size rugby ball can be won per Entrant. If an Entrant receives a prize, they are permitted to continue to answer the weekly HYVIDO® QUIZ question but will not be eligible to win another prize.
4.3 In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to provide alternative prize(s) of equal or greater value.
4.4 The winner(s) will be responsible for any income tax or other taxes or payments due as a result of winning a prize.
5. Data protection and notifying the winner(s)
5.1 To manage this Prize Draw, Syngenta are the Data Controller and will process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). 5.2 The winner(s) will be notified by email within five (5) working days of the close of each two (2) week period. We will contact the prize winner directly to confirm their prize and will post their prize within seven (7) working days.
5.3 If we are unable to contact any prize winner or do not receive a reply within thirty (30) days of the initial notification of winning the prize, the prize will be forfeited. At our discretion, we may select a new prize winner from the remaining entries.
5.4 Losing entries will not receive any notification.
6. Changes to Rules
6.1 If, due to events beyond our reasonable control, we decide to modify the Rules at any time, we will notify Entrants as soon as is practically possible.
6.2 We reserve the right to change, suspend or cancel the Prize Draw without specifying the reasons and without incurring liability as a result.
7. General
7.1 This Competition and these rules are governed by the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
