One of our manufacturing teams at Huddersfield have won a prestigious award from the UK's Chemical Industries Association. The Manufacturing Improvement Award recognises the hard work that has gone into the Manufacturing Excellence Programme that has underpinned the site's ability to provide active ingredient for the world-leading insecticide 'Karate'.
The CIA Awards are designed to highlight outstanding achievement and are one of the highest accolades companies and individuals can achieve. They offer a unique opportunity to promote and showcase excellent performance as well as demonstrate the industry's continuing improvements in HSE, manufacturing, innovation, reputation, sustainable development and dedication to investing in people.
The purpose of the Manufacturing Improvement Award is to encourage organisations to continually improve their manufacturing processes. The receipt of this award by our Huddersfield 'Karate' team recognises the excellent work done on site to deliver a programme of improvements which have resulted in increased production, to excellent standards and allowed the company to respond to changing business requirements in a sustainable way.
